Recent Acquisitions [Stuff I just bought]

Hellllo everybody!

Hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend! So........ I gaatttt me some new stuff, lets get into it shall we?? (side note: dear quya please apply this sort of straightforwardness in real life!)

First up, Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Complexion Corrector

This bad boy retails at RM199 and I got mine in the color....... yep, u guessed it, Light, which is the lightest shade available. First impression- OKAY just OKAY. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I love love LOVE the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, but the one flaw *breaks my heart to say this* the product has is that it has no SPF or any sort of "sun protection" elements in it.  Now don't get me wrong, I know that we should all use a separate sunscreen and NOT the SPFs in our makeup, but I'm more of an all in one kinda gal. The main reason why I got this product is because every time I am under the hot Malaysian sun without sunscreen my conscience is saying:

 *GOOD LUCK  LOOKING YOUTHFUL ON YOUR WEDDING DAY U LAZY LAZY GIRL*

Now that we're done justifying why I got the CC Cream, lets move on to the next purchase shall we? Full review coming soon once I've used the product long enough

Peter Thomas Roth Un-wrinkle Peel Pads (60 pads in a container)

Have I ever mentioned that I have a love affair with acids? I'm not talking about hydrochloric acids [HCI] or Nitric Acids [NH3] that we learnt in Chemistry Class, although I did get an "A" in Chemistry for A-Levels (Love you Mr. Hanson best chem teacher ever!) I'm talking about the acids that you apply on your face to eat away those dead skin cells, to give you that lit from within glow that we all strive for. I will do a separate post on some of the exfoliating products that I have tried (Wow this post is just full of promises.........)

First impression- I've used this twice! so I can't really say yet.. ..so far so good, we'll see what happens in the next few weeks. You are meant to use it daily in the AM or PM. Swipe one pad on cleansed face and leave it on for 1 to 3 minutes. Rinse well, and proceed with your moisturizer/serum/oil of choice. Despite the name, the main use of this product is to exfoliate your skin on a daily basis. The idea is- the more exfoliated and fresh your skin is, the faster it renews itself, the less build up of

dead skin cells you have on your face, the fresher your complexion looks and wallaaah the less problems you have with your complexion :)
